...Most souls don't persist after death, Alphys.
A-Auuh...perhaps it is not the case for humans where you are from but...indeed, if a human were to die in our own realm they would be quite....Gone.
The Ringmaster's revival is prepared long ahead of time for that reason-it sort of...calls the soul back, rather than letting it go where it would go.
Presumably, keeping such a thing from doing so would include 'keeping it from disappearing in death', would it not?
And given the spell is prepared long ahead of time...
...Would we not have seen any...negative side effects, by now?
