[There’s a lot more he could say here, like the fact that they’re specifically looking for a Shinto priest, and that they need one so Reira can experience a proper shichi-go-san festival, and that he suggested that maybe it didn’t really matter since it’s all symbolic anyway, and Tanyuu didn’t seem to like that suggestion.

But none of that has occurred to him, so here we are.]

Yeah, 'course. I mean, not right now they won't be, because nobody is getting married, but if they were we'd need a priest for that too.

I only ask because it seems very likely people would come here for, various celebratory purposes, including. Impulsive weddings. It would make sense for them to provide a priest. I'm not sure why you're asking us and not the locals, though, wouldn't that make more sense?

We're trying to set up something like a shichi-go-san festival for Reira - not really the right time of year for it, but she's about the right age and she's never been to one. And Tanyuu says we've got to do it 'properly'.

Ah... maybe, I guess, but I wouldn't bet on it. [He can't quite picture someone getting married in a place like this, but maybe it's possible.]

Anyway, if there is anyone in the carnival who can help, sending out a message this way seemed like it'd be quicker than asking around among the locals. We can check around outside the carnival if there's nobody among us who can do it.

I think our father just took us to the shrine for photographs. [But Shiro Fujimoto was a Catholic priest, so there might have been a conflict of religious interest there.]
