I mean I know all the drugs and stuff here can have that effect, but it's not just the junkies. And some of you all are scaring the hell out of me too just from what I've seen...

[ granted, Lars is on the older end of the teenage spectrum but it's still a bit weird in general ]

How old a teenager? Because I swear almost all of them are kids around here. [To her immense irritation. Not because she didn't like them, but because some people closer to her age would be nice.]

Thankfully one of the older ones. You're right though, [ he said with a sigh. ] And may I be frank? I know that some people make their contracts willingly, but you'd think the Ringmaster wouldn't let children accidentally sign up. What use could they be to a carnival?

She's a fae. We're all children to her. And she doesn't think the same way as we do anyway. Hell, she may have sprang into existence fully formed, never had a childhood in the first place.
