DAY 88 -- PUBLIC CHANNEL

[It's a not terribly cheerful Psi greeting you on the radio today. In fact, his annoyance is palpable though he tries his best to restrain it.]

Are there any individuals here from species with... Alternative romantic relationships, by which I mean romantic relationships not motivated purely by... Love.

Barring that, I'm wondering if anyone here with experience fighting psionics is interested in... Sparring.

We do seem to attract that sort, don't we? Those that are willing to escape their former life often have been hurt in the past, which can make it harder to open up again for fear of it happening all over again. Pride can be part of it as well, not wishing to show what they feel is a weakness by needing help.

No, we don't. But it's something many people learn as a fact one way or another, it seems.

[It feels a bit fake, to be speaking so worldly when most of her actual interaction with the world has been in the past two years, but she's always been a keen observer. Being alone with little but your thoughts lends to reflection on things that would normally pass without notice.]

Of course, to begin unlearning thoughts like that, you have to first be willing to listen to the idea.
