[Day 3, Public]
[Oh hey, Rita's actually using the network today. Her voice sounds weak and raspy, but she's got some water handy, so she should be able to make it through talking without hurting her throat too much, at least for a while. Besides, this is important.]
Right... so, apparently, I'm not supposed to do anything too strenuous until I've recovered more... which is fine and all, but the thing is... I've already read every book in my trailer three times over.
Anybody got any books I can borrow? Nonfiction is preferred, but frankly, I'm getting desperate.

[Sans is also here in tired and mostly bedridden land.]

[Said proudly, but then, with a hint of eagerness:]
Why? You got something interesting?

I got a few things you might like. I'm a physicist, myself. But hey, maybe it'll just be telling you stuff you already know.

Could be, but it's worth taking a look. You'd be surprised at the perspectives different worlds can bring, even to fields like math and physics.
[Or maybe he wouldn't be, if he's been exploring alien publications like she has.]

Yeah, you see that more and more the longer you travel around the multiverse. The way reality works in individual places can be pretty different. There's a lot of humans, for instance, but the way they utilize magic can change a lot between different places, so their physics tends to change, too.
It's all part of why our own magic doesn't work the same when we visit new places. Some worlds are more compliant than others.

I take it you've been at this longer? [...and with more success in finding good reading material?]

[He's got a backlog of research - from the times that he's been active, anyway. Depression has a way of interfering with his work ethic, every so often. As such, he doesn't immediately go into details.]
Where you at, kid? I've got some pretty thick texts on the subject, from worlds before you signed on. I can send a few over.

Trailer 19.
You got someone willing to play courier for you?

[Around the same time he says it, a couple of heavy books will plop into the middle of her trailer.]
I hope you were around to see that, or else it will kind of ruin the effect.

Wh-- what the hell was that!?

I'd like to hear more about this 'spacial manipulation' of yours, though...
[Ordinarily, Rita would start barraging him with questions here and now. But that would be pretty hard on her throat, and in her condition, she might not have enough concentration to fully appreciate an explanation. He's probably in a similar boat, too. So...] Maybe sometime when we aren't feeling like crap.

[He's been sleeping most of every day recently so he wouldn't be in very good shape for hard thinking.]
Looks like we'll have plenty of time coming up.
