Public channel; late Day 5
So...seems there's quite a bit I've missed. Would anyone care to fill me in?
Ah, right. Tanyuu Karibusa, make up artist, for any newcomers that don't know me. I've been back in my homeworld for a while, but I didn't realize how long I'd been gone here. Something of a problem with inter-realm travel.

[WELL NOW.] Tanyuu~! You're here again! That's good!
....I'm the manager now~
[She's just going to throw that out there With No Build at all.]
no subject
Oh, congratulations! I hope things haven't been terribly hectic in my absence for you.
no subject
....I now have three people who can do make up, and...one person other than me who can sew, so it's actually a lot better than it normally is~! It's really nice~!
[Carly please don't die]
no subject
[Does Tanyuu finally need to learn how to sew? is that what's happening here?]
no subject
[DEFINE..............BREAK?]
no subject
How often?
no subject
sleep counts right?
no subject
Or Ginko.
If you need help I can probably at least cut fabric for you all.
no subject
...And people need clothes to wear!! [Carly stop while you're ahead.]
...............I guess cutting helps, though................
no subject
[Even if she is scolding, her tone is soft and understanding.]
It frees you the time to work on more complicated parts of making the clothes. Don't be afraid to ask for help or delegate when you need to, either. That's part of being the boss, you know.
no subject
.............Ah. ...I'll, um, keep that in mind though!
[Who's boss here!?]
no subject
I just fret, you know that. I'm sure you'll do just fine managing all of us.

[Though sometimes the Ringmaster's reasoning for where that potential will come from is...suspect. But Carly is a good choice, for certain.]
lmfff guess that's the end of this thread
She's just going to be Really Happy on the other end of the radio, now...]
no subject
Ah, there's been... a lot, yeah. We do have a couple more animal keepers now.
[That is one of the least pertinent things he could say but he's not gonna go right into the stuff like the Prince and Psi and everything okay.]
no subject
[And Tanyuu is just as delighted to hear her brother again, of course!]
That's good to hear. Now you won't have to work yourself nearly as hard. [Can you hear the pointed question in that? Can you?]
no subject
Right... uh, more to the point, it means I have time to help with medical work. Kinda need more people in that department. [SURPRISE he's just taking on more jobs.]
see keywords
[Time to slither her butt on over!]
[...goddamnit, Ginko.] Well, it has only been Zecora there for a while.
no subject
[Might as well just get it over with.] Zecora is gone. We do have... at least one new person in medical, though.
[Hi, Herbert.]

[Tanyuu would have liked to bid her farewell before she went, but...such is life.]
At least we aren't completely unstaffed. Have you let them know about the mushi?

Ginko unfortunately attracts them as a natural part of who he is, and so we use incenses to help ward them away. Infestations still happen occasionally, and the cures tend to be a bit less...hmm, scientific in nature, I suppose.
no subject
Possibly it isn't the time to go into further depth but I will require further information about these mushi eventually. Could you provide me with an example of one of these...unscientific cures?
no subject
I would be happy to explain more at a later date. And one I can think of off-hand is the cure for Un. They're a rather common type that cause deafness by infesting one's ear and devouring all sound, but can be driven back out with application of a saline solution.
[Spoilers, the little buggers look like snails and slugs.]
no subject
He needs further information.]
If they're unique to your world what makes them a problem here? Ginko can "attract" them across the multiverse?

[This all just. Sounds so fake, Tanyuu. But he HAS seen magic. He's going to make an attempt to stay as open minded as he possibly can.
Which isn't much but at least there's effort happening instead of dismissal. Invisible spirit beings are easier than gods, for instance.]
And what is this incense you keep mentioning? What is it composed of? Is depleting your supply something that commonly happens?
no subject
[He's got a LOT to explain once they're face to face.]
no subject
[Okay, deep breaths, Tanyuu.]
I'm almost over there, I'll see you soon.
radio -> action
[He stays put until she arrives, resting an elbow on the table he's sitting at and tapping his fingers idly on its surface.
When he sees Tanyuu coming in, though, he stands up, ears perking up despite his overall state - which, simply put, isn't great. Fortunately he's at least changed clothes by now, so he's not particularly gross, but this is not a man who has been getting enough sleep, or even chances to relax.] Hey, Tanyuu.
no subject
Ginko! You look worn to threads, what happened?
no subject
no subject
[Fully closing the distance, Tanyuu reaches out to rest her hands on Ginko's arms, looking up at him with concern.]
Were you afflicted? What are the effects?
no subject
No, I wasn't. Those infected have been fatigued, nauseous, often hopeless... at this point, we're pretty sure that's an actual direct effect, not just a result of their situation. And many of them have had body parts turned to stone. The Ringmaster has enchanted them to be able to move, at least.
no subject
[Thank god, someone he's glad to hear is back. Don't mind if he sounds a bit sluggish and exhausted. Just poisoned, no big deal.]
no subject
[Casual reminder that nature sibs are BOTH natural fussers, welcome to hell.]
no subject
[what do you mean that's not fine- ]
I'm glad ya came back. Didn't think we would see ya for a while longer, if I'm honest. How were things back home?
no subject
Poisoned? With what? What happened?
no subject
-Ah, shouldn't have said that on the radio. [The most important part here.] It was another Fae but we're done with 'im now.
no subject
[She is getting INFORMATION, mister.]
no subject
And I don't mean that cruelly, it's just hundreds of feet off the ground.
no subject
no subject
Oh.
[Take a vacation to recover from one big disaster to come back to the aftermath of another, this is fine.]
