[Without bothering to announce himself, Herbert just starts speaking over the radio. His voice is, at least, pretty distinctive, soft and measured and nasal. Probably recognisable as the guy on the first cure announcement.

Who needs names anyway, right? The information is most important.]

The cure for the venom has been completed. For those with the symptom of petrification the procedure is, twofold: a single dose transdermally applied medication as well as a medicinal beverage—those not demonstrating petrification need only ingest the latter. The transdermal medication is formulated in the shape of a solid sphere that will dissolve and subsequently effervesce to distribute itself in water--ideally for use in one of the various, lunar spas for a period of no less than 8 minutes. I…would advise drinking the beverage either after or at least 6 hours before the bath or else, make certain you are supervised…

[Dammit, Lambert. There is so much alcohol in that half of the cure.]

I will be at the small cabin just to the left of the entrance for, those who want to collect their medication—someone will deliver it otherwise. I am, additionally staying on the radio to answer any questions you may have.

[ooc: The cure is here! It's... a weird herbal alcoholic beverage (THANKS, LAMBERT) and uh. Basically the Ectoplasm jelly bath bomb from LUSH. Please call Herbert out on accidentally inventing the bath bomb. The bomb is purple and segmented on the outside and smells of citrus. Once it's been put in water it oozes diluted bright green slime with magic sparkles in it. It glows slightly. The slime permeates the stone and gradually turns it back to flesh. The drink tastes like drinking a herb garden and alcohol. It rejuvenates you from the poison effects and also you'll get drunk. Sorry, kids. Medieval Poland.]

Yes, the bath is not required. The beverage dosages are individually measured per my knowledge of each patient and drinking the entirety is sufficient. [yes, hello small child. Drink your medicinal alcohol ok.]

Oh! [Well this is handy then.] Do I have to do anything else when I'm drinking it? If you can't go in a hot tub, that means something important could happen right?

One of the ingredients is alcohol if you're aware of its effects. If not, it's a depressant that will affect certain areas of your brain. You will at the very least feel relaxed, potentially drowsy and should drink the medication with, supervision of a sober party.

[All the kids would get that instruction if they came to him but most probably won't, so. On the radios and reiterated by whoever does the deliveries! He guesses!]

I guess I know that now, [she replies, glancing down the cabins as she looks for his.] I'll make sure I drink it at someone else's cabin then. My cabin is Foster's.

The radio is on long enough to hear whatever reply comes, before she goes to knock on a door.]

[...yeah, that actually throws him for a brief loop. Small child? Foster? Whatever. Live your life, small child.]

That sounds wise.

[He opens the door a short time after the knock. It's a two person cabin but it's very clean and barely used and he's obviously the only person there. The fireplace is lit and there's Herbert's radio and a book about medical mishaps on a table beside an armchair nearby. He's quiet for a moment, looking down at the little kid, probably human despite her skin. It looks like a mineral but she said she only had the infection and not the petrification, so he'll assume it's natural or a mutation.

He remembers belatedly to do social more things and steps slightly back away from the open door.]

Come in. I'll fetch your medicine.

[There is, of course, no answer to 'that sounds wise'. If there was time for more thorough inspection of the stone she were covered in, it would prove to be moonrock-but that isn't the point, and as she's allowed in, she nods.] Mnh. Thank you, [She replies politely, before pausing.]

....If Foster doesn't answer after a while.... ....Is it ok for me to get it to bring to him? ....I can probably make him take it, if he starts to think he 'shouldn't.... [From her tone it's a bit clear she's trying to avoid the more blunt issues with the man-issues she's, somehow someway, managed to figure out how to work with 'easily'.

Really it's all very awkward when she has to do that, but if it means he doesn't flop around a poisoned mess, it'll be worth it.]

[Once Reira is in, Herbert starts to head off to the fridge where the medication is stored but pauses halfway and turns to look at her when she asks about bringing it to Foster. Interesting. She can 'make' him take it? Perhaps she's staying with him for more than one reason.]

How would you manage that?

[It's blunt, but he's intrigued.]

Foster doesn't think he's supposed to get things he likes-and....he feels 'happy' when he has to do something he's told, [she adds, grimacing a little more openly. Right, well, regardless.]

.........So I just have to say 'If you don't take it, you can't work properly, and then you can't do all the work people are telling you to do'. ...And that works.

[Not usually, either. It just works. She's got him figured out pretty solidly.] ....Foster doesn't feel things like normal people, so it's weird.... [She admits however.]

[Herbert looks vaguely off to one side and has a tiny epiphany. That certainly. Explains. Things.]

Making it about his function...works, yes I see. I think with that added variable I should be able to make him take it but I'll certainly keep you in mind if it comes to it. [He wants to practise making Foster do things, sure, but not at the risk of Foster not taking his medicine.

He turns back around again to complete his path to the fridge and takes out a small glass bottle with scale measurements on the side. Holding it up to judge the amount, he glances back at Reira and starts doing some mental estimations on if it actually is an appropriate dose for this tiny kid.]

Mnh. [She nods.] ....He'll probably listen if he thinks you're telling the truth. ....If he thinks you don't actually mean it, he won't...

[Fortunately, one doesn't have to Enjoy doing something to mean it. So she's always, well. Meant what she's said to him. Anyway.

Beyond that, she waits rather patiently while he ponders the amount-it's pretty clear to her that he's Thinking right now.]

Can he tell? If I actually mean it? [He takes out a larger bottle and carefully pours an amount from Reira's dose back into it before holding it up again, putting the top back onto both, and walking over to Reira as the fridge closes.]

Here. [He holds the potion out towards her.] This should be correct--otherwise return and I'll, calculate any additional doses required.

Mnh....well, if someone was telling you they wanted you to get hurt, but really didn't... ...Normally that sort of person is pretty obvious, with how they look... [You don't need Empathy to catch a Pacifist, that's for sure. Anyway.

She nods, taking the potion.] So...if I'm still sick after it's supposed to be done, I come back then? Or is there another way to know if it's wrong? [It probably isn't-definitely isn't, actually, but hey, gotta be Thorough.]
