Public Channel | Day B11, Morning

[Without bothering to announce himself, Herbert just starts speaking over the radio. His voice is, at least, pretty distinctive, soft and measured and nasal. Probably recognisable as the guy on the first cure announcement.

Who needs names anyway, right? The information is most important.]

The cure for the venom has been completed. For those with the symptom of petrification the procedure is, twofold: a single dose transdermally applied medication as well as a medicinal beverage—those not demonstrating petrification need only ingest the latter. The transdermal medication is formulated in the shape of a solid sphere that will dissolve and subsequently effervesce to distribute itself in water--ideally for use in one of the various, lunar spas for a period of no less than 8 minutes. I…would advise drinking the beverage either after or at least 6 hours before the bath or else, make certain you are supervised…

[Dammit, Lambert. There is so much alcohol in that half of the cure.]

I will be at the small cabin just to the left of the entrance for, those who want to collect their medication—someone will deliver it otherwise. I am, additionally staying on the radio to answer any questions you may have.

[ooc: The cure is here! It's... a weird herbal alcoholic beverage (THANKS, LAMBERT) and uh. Basically the Ectoplasm jelly bath bomb from LUSH. Please call Herbert out on accidentally inventing the bath bomb. The bomb is purple and segmented on the outside and smells of citrus. Once it's been put in water it oozes diluted bright green slime with magic sparkles in it. It glows slightly. The slime permeates the stone and gradually turns it back to flesh. The drink tastes like drinking a herb garden and alcohol. It rejuvenates you from the poison effects and also you'll get drunk. Sorry, kids. Medieval Poland.]

Also the one where there's two of me! Does my human half drink this too? I'm only like spiritually poisoned on that end, I think.

Mhmm. I'll rephrase. Is it going to leave bits of glitter on people? And it sounds like this one fancy bath treatment for soaking in.

You've seen a blue-haired guy coming in a lot to sit with me? He's also me. Basically it's like I'm one person distributed over two different bodies, so, yeah, they both gotta eat if I want them both in good condition. My human half wasn't exposed to much poison if any, but I still feel sick!

All right, I'll take that as a 'probably less pleasant than glitter', but maybe that means it's easier to clean off, too. So bath bombs. How'd you get the fizz? You've got baking soda and citric acid or like more exotic?

[Oh Herbie. Julien is, of course, utterly oblivious.]

Good to know! I like "the transitive property of your existence", by the way. It's also more complicated than it sounds because I kinda have a way to consume something to sustain and heal both at once, but honestly it's probably better to go traditional here.

Aww, that's cool. Any ingredients left over? I've made home bath bombs before, but it's been a while! I don't think the stone on me is going away, so I don't really know about soaking, myself.

Haaa, god.

If something won't kill me in under twenty minutes then it's not gonna kill me at all, not if I'm conscious enough to start healing myself. It's probably even less than that and especially if I kick it off and then sleep, but I haven't exactly experimented. Might be the word's 'regenerate'.

Well, it's neat anyway! There's normally no medical function to the things, but this is the Carnival, you have to adjust your settings on 'normal' constantly.

I'm human, man! Or I was born a completely normal human, though I'm willing to say that my idea of 'human' is probably slightly different than the others I've seen. Nothing I've got is something I was born with, though, and in a more stable world I'd still be entirely typical of humanity.

Ah, good! You really gotta kind of lean into the flow here. Sometimes things don't make sense, but that's all right, you know?

That's something you'll have to ask individuals themselves! I am super not equipped to guess. So many people look human with some tiny variation but aren't, even before fae reworking. Then you've got weird outliers like me, who I guess looked half.

Good man! I sincerely wish you the best of luck, the idea of cataloging all of this is pretty overwhelming.

Haha, well, I was like this when I signed up! Not blue, no spider legs on my face or stone scales, but my most salient features were already present. You probably don't have to worry about that. Now, I think the really dramatic changes and going though dramatic, dangerous situations, or just taking on new responsibilities, are related, but don't quote me on that, I'm spitballing.
