May I ask a favor? If anyone spots a chicken wandering around the carnival or Wismuth, please return said chicken to me. [ pause. ] Or the Ringmaster. Come to think of it, it would probably be better if the chicken was returned to the Ringmaster in the first place.

[ it's after Strange comes down from his high and stops having existential thoughts about the nature of hands that he actually makes this post...which means that there's plenty of time for your character to have run into said chicken. ]

Well, I might have- [ been pretty high ] -erm, smoked something before accidentally turning 9S into a chicken. But I still have no idea how I could have done it in the first place! That spell takes effort, it's not something like changing the temperature or traveling through mirrors which I could do in my sleep.
