Hey, everyone.
[There's a pause, like he's waiting to be sure enough people are listening before he continues. He wants to reach as much of the carnival as possible.] I spoke to Noa, and she explained a little bit more about the Void and the Harbingers to me.
She said she thinks the carnival members can still be saved. I think so, too. The Void makes them think there's nothing worth living for, but we know them and we know that's not true. If we can show them that whay they cared about before still matters, what was to their souls can be purified and the Void won't have them anymore. We think CY-Ren can be saved, too.
I... don't know exactly how to do that. But everyone taken, they have friends here, don't they? If we work together, we can find a way. Maybe we can share what made them happy, what might remind them of who they are or--or how to talk to them? [His voice wavers a little, but not out of lack of confidence in his plan.]
I know they can be reached. It won't be easy, but... I think we should try. I think it's better than just fighting them.
((TREAT THIS AS A MINGLE threadjack each other, this is an open forum of friendship.))

Why does there have to be an 'after?'
That's the point of the end. There is no 'after.'
no subject
That's not what happens if you 'reset' something.
So, if you know it's definitely the end, then we know, but if there's something else, that's why I'm asking.
no subject
There is nothing else.
[This is one of those topics on which Foster's intensity leaves no room for compromise. Even without emphasis, the sentence is an absolute.]

Ok, I was just asking. [She knows better than to argue though.]
I'm not the one who has your book.
Did you tell Lambert other things about it? He's talking about it a lot...

[What do you mean, he's talking about it a lot? What is he saying?
From where Foster's standing, what Lambert's saying sounds a lot like 'I asked to have something explained and now I'm mad I didn't understand it.' Which is not his fault. Except it is. He doesn't know what to do about it, but it's definitely his fault.
Even though it isn't.]
He ordered me to write him a short summary and deliver it to Syrlya, and I did.
I don't know what Syrlya reported to Lambert.
[How could he?]
no subject
Did you tell me everything that the summary for Syrlya was?
Can I hear the rest if you didn't?
no subject
--why don't you go ask Syrlya.
I'm sure he'll do a much better job than me!
[The fine line between passive aggressive and genuine enthusiasm....]

Hey, where are you?
[uh oh]

He can't refuse, though. So he answers.]
On the ferris wheel.
