She said it was because life around here's become too dangerous for that commitment to be fair. So, she's focusing on willing recruits now.

[He has mixed feelings about it. He doesn't like forced servitude. That means this is technically good news. Still, the reason for it is kind of... At the same time he wouldn't be here if it weren't for minor infractions and forced servitude himself. His tone turns somber as he considers.]

Sometimes. Maybe not for this one.

But when it comes down to it, it sounds like she doesn't want to get people killed who she can't justify endangering. If you either asked for it in a deal or did something stupid enough to warrant it... probably takes the edge off.

[Sans's feelings towards RM have chilled out a lot by now, which helps. If anything, this ruling is shedding away his last piece of major criticism for her. It's a weird feeling.]
