[PUBLIC CHANNEL] DAY 49, CLOSE TO CLOSING TIME
Hey, so. I know a lot of you are gunna be busy with research, so I figured I may as well put this out there... if you find anything written in hand-shaped pictographs, could you do me a huge favour and pass 'em my way?
I need them for reasons.
That said, how's it going out there? Any news?

Haven't really found anything, I don't think. [He pauses, considering something he read.] Well, there was something on a "Clockwork Queen." It mentions Winter Court and someone known as the "Mother of Invention."

[Audible shrug.]
Did it connect her to any of the stuff we're wondering about?
no subject
[His own wants from these books weren't as demanding or personal and he's aware of just how little he knows of Sans still.]
If I am honest with you, and I try to be, I cannot be certain. [He's not as well versed in fae or its terminology.] It doesn't mention anything special that stands out to me other than information on her directly. She sought to rid herself of the weakness to iron and make the Winter Court essentially undying. I will probably get a second pair of eyes on it soon.

Having information on any fae that might potentially climb out of the woodwork seems like a plus to me.

Wait, I know that name! One of the changelings from the caravan worked underneath her!

[But back to the point.] It seems to speak quite highly of her as if she was something remarkable. It was uncommon for the Faerie Folk to rise above their nature - it was in this way that the Mother of Invention was a marvel in of herself.

Sans, do you mean... Are you looking for some familiar handwriting?
no subject
Uh, yeah. It's sure handy when someone has such distinctive penmanship.
no subject
It, heh, it really is! I can... keep lookout for anything of the sort.

reira finds a pile of pokemon footprint runes- 'no not those'
....
...Is it only normal hands..? ...are there paw hands, or bird hands..?
[Dinosaurs have Bird Hands, so this is an important distinction, as all of these hands, she's sure, look Quite Different.]

[He's sort of surprised anyone questioned that.]
There'll be some other stuff in there too, like faces and crosses. And a skull and crossbones.
[This is very specific.]
no subject
... [She must question this, because it's You, and also Skulls have now been mentioned.] ....human hands, and not skeleton hands, then...
[Don't sound so suspicious, Reira-!]

Not turning up much that's useful, though it's funny -- I was just thinking there was something I wanted to ask you.
no subject
[Leaving it at that for now.]
Well, now's your chance, I guess. Whatcha thinkin?

You ever run into any problems holding lead? Since Portland, I mean.

Not sure how Faeish translation will work with that... might not be able to read it unless you know what the symbols stand for.

[Makes sense, though a simple reassignment of letters isn't a terribly hard code to crack.]
...Is it information that's meant to be private then?

Aside from that, I might have found something useful. We know the names of the other two artifacts, but we don't know their shapes, correct?
no subject
Blue Rose was fire and frost, the other one was light and shadow, and the other one was wood and rot. Or something.
Do you think you found something that matches?
