[Public Channel | Day 59]
[Surprise, it's another announcement!]
If anyone is still among the shelves and is not with a member of the carnival security, speak up. I will come find you.

...Are you not getting stuck and lost in dark places?
[Don't worry Reira, that's literally Everyone in the library right now.]

Niisama and I were coming back using Kage, because people started fighting on the radio, so it seemed like a good idea to go home, but...
[Welp.]
...Then it got dark, and it feels like the shelves are different now... ...So we're moving slower now...
no subject
Do you know which direction you are headed, or what your surroundings looked like before the shadows crept in?
no subject
[A surprisingly positive note.] I made a map!
Where we were, you just had to go straight, and then at the end turn left where there were lots of beanbag chairs with books...and after that, the Carnival would be there, just straight ahead.
...We were still in the first straight part, but... ...I've never seen any of these shelves...

tags from bed bc HAHAH I FORGOT I HAVE TO LET MY TOOTH STUFF SIT BEFORE I SLEEP rip
[WAIT BUT...BUT-] Ummm...But Lambert said to look for other people...
Should I just stop until you know if you can find us or not..?

If you sense danger, then you run, but keep your radio so that you can tell me what is happening.

A COMPROMISE THEN.] ....I'll stay in one spot...and if it seems like a bad idea to stay, I'll move, and tell you when I'm moving, if that works?
[The reason it's a compromise to her is that it's not quite 'danger' she's referring to...more of a gut feeling, like she Should be in a different hall, sort of like when she was wandering around for another book.
It's probably the best way to stay alive in this mess though.]

Good. I will find you as quickly as I can.
no subject
[Anyway good luck with that.]

I'm at the carnival. I can help those you bring.
no subject
The iron! Do you still have it at the Carnival?
no subject
I gave it back to Childermass. [ there's another, smaller uncomfortable pause before Cole continues. ] I think I know where he keeps it, though.
[ and if Cole's wrong, there's always the option of breaking and entering and rifling through Childermass's stuff. sorry, Childermass. ]
no subject
As it is, all Cole gets is a sharp, impatient noise and the sound of running feet. Bye, little ghost friend. ]

[He's asking for help getting back to the carnival.]
(OOC: I'd appreciate it if you could take a look at this. Thanks.)

Um. Yeah, I'm still in the library.
[He was so absorbed in trying to consume all the data around him that he totally missed almost all the radio broadcasts, including Sans' one to buddy up. He has Pod 153 with him, does that count?]
You sure you can find me? Ever since the hallways went dark, I can't make it back to the Carnival.

It'd be easier to mark where I was in the library if there was any logic to how they ordered their books.
[Grumble grumble.]
I tested the corridors a few times, but I can stay where I am.
no subject
Move if you sense danger, and keep your radio on. We're already losing people.
no subject
[A little while later.]
Hey Syrlya? [He sounds a bit anxious.] Can you look for Rita first?
no subject
He's keeping his radio open, though, so he's certainly hearing the chaos.] Isn't she with a group?
no subject
Not anymore. They're apparently gone. She was by the Carnival entrance, but now she's not.

I'll make my way towards the corridors near the Carnival's entrance and wait for you there. If the passage becomes unblocked before we meet up, I'll let you know.
