[ There's a bit of a pause before Strange starts talking, as if he's not entirely certain what he's going to say. He sounds a bit tired, but awake enough to hold a conversation. ]

For those of you who didn't already know, I'm not dead anymore. [ pause. ] Which, I suppose, is obvious as I'm talking to the radio, but the point stands.

I'd like to speak directly to the Ringmaster, Syrlya, and Zangetsu, if possible. As for everybody else, can you please fill me in on what happened from the time I left with Ignatius to now? Don't spare any details, this will be written down for posterity's sake.

[ fun fact: Strange has ABSOLUTELY ZERO CLUE about the various levels of trainwreck that the fae party in the library + rescue missions + torture session were. ]

Finally, odd question, but did anyone bring any flameproof fabric?

[ Strange rolls his eyes before looking over at Herbert. Yeah, he's tired of this towel as well. ]

Camping involves open flames, doesn't it? Something should exist so people can sit near the fire.

[Herbert makes a brief choking noise, which is his attempt at stifling a laugh.]

Perhaps Carly can make you an asbestos hat.

It'd be mean to ask her to work during vacation. [ said with an expression that implies he's gonna do it anyway. ]

[Herbert finally looks up from his book.]

I'm working during my vacation.

[kingsroads]

Yes, but you're the doctor. You're always working.

[ duh, herb ]

[scientificist]

I'd prefer to not always be working to dampen your bedding when presumably some swift work from Carly would eliminate that need.

[kingsroads]

Oh, just give me a few more hours and I'll be well enough to leave.

[ until Strange does a different something stupid to send him to the med tent. ]
