[Honestly, it isn't his fault he doesn't have hammer space or fancy magic to use for hiding stuff. Tyki didn't have to suggest he should contribute some other way like he had something to make up for when the topic of assuring the rest of the Carnival that the situation was under control came up; any one of them could have done that! But in the end there wasn't a graceful way to weasel out of it, so here Shima is, sighing and clicking his radio on to the public channel once they'd made it back to camp and had some rest.

The aggressive cheer in his voice poorly disguises the put upon tone to his announcement.]

Shima again. I'm sure some of ya've been wondering what's been up with that fae that our last team captured 'n got the Ringmaster ta eat. Well, good news, she's fine now 'n the eating was temporary.

Iggy-san is doing less hot, but he's alive 'n we've got him inside, uh... I guess it was a beach moon? Not sure how that works. But yeah, for whatever reason, since I fit the Ringmaster's criteria for a person suitable ta bring along for a chat with him, here's a first hand account that his powers have been stripped and he's successfully contained 'n not leaving the Carnival for a while.

Take a sigh of relief, or brace yourselves. Whichever!

I had a weird dream, and I ain't the kind to have vivid dreams of things and places I don't know. I ain't gonna say that I know exactly what I saw, but the timin' is weird.

I guess I was gettin' presented to the Summer Queen? Well, not me, but it may have been that guy. There were people I've never seen before in my life, but I knew who they were. It was a little creepy, honestly.

[Waves his hand, not that she can see him doing that]

Sounds like dreams for ya, even weird merge-y dreams... Well Ginko-san 'n Tanyuu-san got the cure done if ya haven't seen 'em yet for the remedy... Ginko-san's the uh.. weird green one with white hair, dunno if ya've met.

But creepy or not that means ya know a little more about the Summer Courts if it was really his dream. How much do ya remember?

Just remember some names and faces. Saw the Summer Queen. But it wasn't like I got a long tour or nothin'. But I'm guessing strippin' him of his powers has put him in a pretty bad way if I really was in his dream.

So it was a nightmare about being presented to his Queen then. Aah.. I almost feel bad...

I'm saying I mighta been in his dreams. I don't know what else woulda caused it, but it ain't like I've confirmed it with him or anythin'.

Hm. Well, I don't know if the Ringmaster's letting just anyone visit, but there's one way we could check how real it was.

There four of 'em I saw. The Summer Queen, the Incandescence, the Gilded Mark, and the Torchbearer. Somethin' like that.

Nah, but I’d be pretty mad if I knew someone saw that if it was me.

Was it that bad...? He's pretty loyal to the Summer Queen. You'd think a dream with her in it would be a good thing.

[ Doesn't sound like much of a nightmare to him, but it's probably hell for someone like Iggy. Still, hard to know if Fae dreams as nonsensical as anyone else's, or if there's some sort of truth to them... ]

Mm, the first two I saw--the Torchbearer and the Gilded Mark. One of 'em was fair with some tattoos on her head, the other dark with gold tattoos. Both of 'em were pretty friendly. Dunno if they were guards or companions, but I didn't get any kind of animosity from them.

The Incandescence-aah. If I had to guess, I'd put her more with light than anything else. Y'know when people are supposed to have an 'inner light' or whatever? Like that, but literally. [Shura pauses, thinking.] Guess you could call her maternal? She gave me the medallion I needed to see the Summer Queen.
