[There's a crackle, and then a new voice is coming over the radio. She sounds pleasant, and happy to be here, though there's a bit of an edge to it, like she might be stressed out about something.]

Hello, everyone. Since a lot of you are out exploring these islands, I thought this would be the easiest way to introduce myself to those of you I don't know. I'm Elsa. I've been with the Carnival for just a little over two years now, and, well, I'm also your new Treasurer.

If any of you are part of the treasury division, you can contact me through the treasury's channel. Or you can use 144.95613 to reach just me.

[Wait. Treasurer? Isn't that supposed to be his boss? Sora's pretty sure someone's mentioned that at some point.

Also, when did they get a treasury channel?]

Um, it's nice to meet you, Elsa. When did you get here? Or, um, when did you get back, I guess.

[handwringing]

[They've always had one, but no Treasurer since Gilgamesh left.]

Just a few days ago, but I've been buried in work. What's your name?

I'm Sora! I, um, I think you're my new boss.

[handwringing]

Oh! Sora, alright. What do you do here?

[At least he doesn't seem as young as the other one?]

I'm a Patch! But, uh, I kinda help out everywhere. I'm actually in the costume shop right now.

[If you listen carefully you can probably hear the sounds of Carly screaming in the background.]

[handwringing]

[Carly screaming isn't a completely unknown sound to Elsa.]

A Patch... seems like I have a few of those now. [Though it won't be good if that's all they have.] Is wardrobe short staffed?

A little. A few months ago it was just Carly and one other person, so I offered to help out. I can't do much, but Carly lets me do the cutting and hems and stuff so she can focus on the bigger projects.

[handwringing]

Well, that's very nice of you. I'm sure I can loan you to her, especially during off-weeks, if you don't mind the extra work.

[Please don't overwork yourself, Sora.]

Oh, I don't mind. I like to help. I mean, that's kind of my job, isn't it? Helping?

[He makes no promises.]

[handwringing]

[Yeah, that's kind of concerning.]

To a point. As long as you're not neglecting your duties for me, first and foremost.

Which ones? I've never 'neglected my duties' before, I don't think.

[Elsa can't see it, but Sora frowns. Then again, he hasn't had anyone telling him what to do beside the Ringmaster, before this point.

Not that that'll stop him.]

[handwringing]

I wasn't accusing you of not doing them. I'm just saying not to get too caught up in other things, once performance week starts.

[She's not really getting what's so objectionable about this.]

I never do. I do my job just fine.

[He doesn't say it, because it would be mean, but he doesn't need you to tell him what to do. He's gotten along fine before now with just the other coworkers.]

[handwringing]

[She stops, and takes a deep breath. It wouldn't really do to get mad, now.]
