Two things.

First, did anyone else plant the seeds the Ringmaster gave us after we got back from Hell? [ How many of the new people even know they've been to Hell??? Well whatever, it's not like it's a big secret or anything. ] They grow fast -- mine's already fruiting.

I want to try something, so let me know if you're up to donating some of yours for an experiment.

Second, engineering's working on getting a training yard set up in the forest. It's not all done yet, but there's space for sparring, exercise, and target practice if you need it. I expect to see all nightrunners out there, but anyone else can drop by if they're interested. Only rules are "don't kill your co-workers" and "you break it, you fix it."

I'll be there in the mornings if you need me. Strange, you can come by later, but don't think you get to slack off just because it's performance week.

Just think about it: the better your stamina gets, the more magic you'll be able to do.

I think that rule only applies to Strange.

Though if you do want to get crazier, I guess you've got plenty of options.

The mad magician who plots to raise the dead and consorts with ghosts? I doubt I will return to proper society after my tenure here, but that would only secure my fate away from London!

Besides, they seemed far too happy where they were. Who am I to take them away?

How does one send on a ghost anyway?

[ it's a pity eyerolls aren't audible, because Strange is getting an epic one for that. Getting into getting rid of ghosts is a much more interesting topic. ]

It depends, but the general principle is the same. The basic ingredient to create a ghost is death -- usually a violent one. Sometimes banishing a ghost can as simple as finding the bones and giving them a proper burial. In other cases, there was a lot of suffering, or there's some unfinished business tying them to this world. They can't tell you what it is, though. All they feel and know is pain.

I might be pointing out the obvious, but the ghosts in Alola were different. Grant could certainly feel enjoyment of some sort.

Still, different realms and all that. I wonder what the ghosts of other realms are like?

Yeah, I picked up on that much. Still seems strange. Do dead Pokémon turn into ghosts, or were they spirits to start with?

Who knows? Maybe one day the carnival will take us to a world full of them.

And if dead Pokémon do turn into ghosts, why just those few? After all, there weren't any ghosts that looked like Baker or Pig.

I hope that happens, though. I'd love to visit a ghost world.
