The Psionic here with a very important announcement.

The sense of camaraderie in our department is at an all time low. So, to fix this, attendance at Rex the Rat's birthday party is now mandatory for all Labor Department members. Also I will be bringing twister and you absolutely will have to play.

Chiaki may have gotten out of planning, but Lars, don't think you won't have to make the food still. And I think we have someone new so if your name is Adrien and you're listening to this, please go ahead and publicly introduce yourself. Yes you will have to come to the party.

If anyone knows any party games that will force people to get up close and personal, I'm open to suggestions.

First off, I'm not particularly flexible, so that's a recipe for disaster. I don't much like the idea of being that close to that many people, either, and I honestly don't see how that's going to help with our 'sense of camaraderie'. Seems more likely to create animosity than anything.

Because when people have fun together they open up more and can grow closer! Not everybody is flexible, or likes being close to others. Overcoming that discomfort is part of the fun, that's what makes it a bonding experience!

What makes you think I'm going to have fun? There's got to be another way to approach the whole 'bonding' thing.

Well, you know. If you want people to get to know each other, talking is kind of traditional.

So what you're saying is I should lock you all in a room together until you can have decent conversation together...

That sounds marginally less likely to result in fights or other sources of injury than Twister would be.

Okay, if you can get the other's to agree I will lock you in my trailer instead. But otherwise you have to play twister with me, sound fair?

You know I'm not going to be able to convince them. Besides, if other people want to play Twister, I don't want to stop them, I just think there should be an alternative available.

Ginko if no one wants to do the alternative with you I really don't feel like it's much of an alternative anymore.

Ginko, All you have to do is step on spots. It is not hard to play without injuring yourself!

You mean you have to step on spots that put you in increasingly uncomfortable positions, that get harder to maintain as it goes on. I know how this goes, and it can only end badly.

People play games like this all the time without getting hurt!

Why use your authority for things like making me play party games?

Because...

[He just wanted people to have something to bond over, was it that hard to understand? Was it just a stupid idea? Seeing people fail, or doing something stupid with someone else, that made a person seem more approachable didn't it? Maybe then if someone was lonely or feeling scared because of everything that had happened they'd find someone to reach out to, realize they weren't alone. Was it such a bad idea?]

Because I want people to be friends.

And if I don't make everyone play no one will.

[Which might not technically be true, but he didn't want it too look like he was just torturing the newbies or like he was being mean to them and nice to Ginko or...]
