Nightrider Lambert here. In case you haven't heard by now: the things on Kerner Island eat settled daemons. So find somewhere else to take a daytrip. If you go anyway, do me a favor and keep your radio on you. That way we can all hear what it sounds like when a soul gets eaten.

[ He's about to leave it on that cheerfully sarcastic note, but then the faint sound of a female voice chimes in, scolding. For those who've met her, they'll recognize it as Lambert's daemon, the golden-eyed polecat that wears a hawk's shape outside the carnival. ]

Lambert! You didn't have to say it like that!

[ It doesn't seem to shame him one bit, though, since Lambert's going to keep right on talking: ]

For those of you whose daemon hasn't settled yet, that doesn't mean you get to be an idiot about going out there. Slipping and breaking your neck would be a stupid way to die. That said, if you're interested in doing some nightrunner work--

Come find us! [ The daemon interrupts again, louder this time, and there's a brief sound of a scuffle before her voice finally comes through loud and clear. Now it's Lambert who sounds more distant (and distinctly annoyed), though she talks right over him. ] We've got a map and other things you can use!

[ ooc: Lambert and his daemon will both be replying to his post (and probably fighting over the radio button, honestly). For ease of clarity, her responses will be in italics! ]

And I'm not asking 'just anyone.'

I mean, there's easier ways of getting to other worlds.

[He could tell you all about it.]

But it's still probably interesting to look at, yeah.

So, who are you asking, then?

[You can practically hear the smug grin over the radio.]

Where I'm from, people usually just stick to one world at a time.

[ Also, like fuck gummi ships are an easier way to get to other worlds, or so Lambert would probably say if he ever knew they existed. Anyway, he's rolling his eyes at Sora on the other end of the radio. ]

If I need to spell it out, you're not as smart as I thought you were.

[There's muffled laughing on the other end of the radio before Sora answers.]

I can do it, yeah. If someone can get me a ride, I think it'd be interesting to check out.

Can't your daemon just change into something to carry you across?

[There's the muffled sound of 'In your dreams, buddy!' in the background, before Sora bodily pushes Rohan away from the radio.]

I don't think he wants to change into anything that big. Rohan tends to just stick with a few different things.

I think... I think that means it's almost time for him to settle, but I dunno.

Hm. Might make it harder for you. Settled daemons can barely stand to be near the place.

[ Like, he doesn't really understand how the settling thing works either, but the collective knowledge is that it sucks to be near the island when you're an adult. ]

Well, he's not settled yet. And anyway, I can handle it. Aside from those specter things, I don't think there's a lot of dangerous stuff on that island.

[And he has an advantage in the Keyblade, something other folks don't have.]

[ That he does, and it's why Lambert isn't particularly worried. Though he can't help sounding amused: ]

Not worried about the other kids? I hear they can be pretty feral. Maybe even more than you.

[Sora sticks his tongue out at the radio, not that Lambert can see it.]

Ha ha.

But, nah, not really. Like I said, I can take care of myself. And I can avoid them if I had to.

Good. The less fetching I have to do, the better.

[ He can probably guess at the tongue-sticking even if he can't see it; it's exactly what he'd do, after all. ]

Aww, are you saying you wouldn't come get me if I asked?

[Cue muffled snickering.]

[ Of course he would. It's his job, after all. ]
