This is…Herbert West: a contributor to the recent cure as you may recall as well as…your new Doctor. [He pauses to let that sink in, sounding really smug about it.] The Medical Team is still, small but as more experienced members join it has become more…evident that we do not have the resources we need to properly, treat the Carnival staff.

Namely: up to date medical documentation on you all—now, I made do before with what I had, during the process of constructing the cure but those involved may recall being asked various questions, questions which would have been unnecessary had the previous department been keeping your notes on file. Perhaps medical files aren’t required by, magical zebras but they are required by. Me. It is considerably easier for everyone when all previous knowledge doesn’t leave with the former physician—I’m sure you can agree. [He’s trying his best to sound congenial, definitely, but it mostly comes off as stilted as usual…maybe it counts that he’s trying?]

Today and tomorrow, myself and Mr Okumura will be available to perform physical examinations; any additional medical history you can provide is, welcome, and if you would prefer to attend on an alternate date, contact me to arrange a time.

[And then because so many people here are damned word weasels:] I have to insist all of you show up. Even if you’re healthy. Especially, if you’re healthy to give us an idea of your baseline state but we will, of course, treat any issues you have. Understand, it’s for the good of the Carnival and everyone’s…future well-being.

They did not. Dosages were tailored to the individual patient and Sans received an entirely different variety of medicinal bath based on his particular makeup.

The boss is right, Zangetsu. It doesn't matter how incorporeal you are or how high your healing factor is. That poison shouldn't have affected me and it did. [Can you hear the bitterness in his voice?]

Tch... It's cause fae shit is a bunch of cheating garbage, that's why! But in the end, didn't the same cure work on all different kinds of people?

A lesson hard learned. Yes and no. They essentially used the same cure but my dosage was tailored to me using the blood samples I provided according to my understanding. The same cure, for example, that worked on you if you had been affected possibly wouldn't have worked on me completely.

[logic. Logic seems to work on Zangetsu relatively well. Not just "because I said so". He's too much of a rebel without a cause for that. Fuckin' authority and all that]

There's a problem, though.

Though, if one of them does check up on your body, they don't have to necessarily take anything. It's your terms.

Plenty of blood! It just doesn't... really stick around. It stains my clothes to a certain extent, but if there's like... puddles or some shit, most of it is gone in a few minutes. Tissue chunks last even less time!

That's... quite inconvenient. I think this is something he's generally looking for. For someone like you he'd have to likely incorporate special circumstances.

Well, for most stuff, it's really convenient. I go through a lot of extra flesh and blood when I transform. If it all sat around and rotted, it'd be a mess.

[though he was able to prevent his arm from growing back. Maybe he can prevent blood from vanishing outside his body? Probably not.]
