[With what is probably hilariously ironic timing after Yuya's radio conversation about using friendship to win, the radios will light up green with a message from the Ringmaster. She sounds... a bit disturbed, but playing it cool.]

Hmm. So... public announcement. In case this comes out later. Some of you may not know, but I offer reincarnation services for certain members of the carnival, which... mostly means I will bring them back from death, under certain circumstances.

As it turns out. Sans has managed to to trigger his rebirth ritual... which is to say, he's died somehow. I'm not sure how or precisely when, I have just visited the place where I keep such things, and his candle is lit.

I'm sure he'll fill us all in when he's reborn a while from now! In the meantime, be aware. There's no way of knowing who or what caught up with him. My focus is on defending the carnival, so if you are concerned for your safety, please remain within its grounds.

Considering the last time I heard from him he was just keeping an eye on CY-Ren's penthouse and what the Harbingers were up to? Not hard to guess it was probably one of them.

[ Possibly Nightshade, but he can't think of a single reason why she'd be interested in Sans, having missed a whole part of that particular affair. ]

Any idea how long he'll be out?

Auh- Which...which is to say, those were...the terms we spoke about not long before this...on a private channel.... [There is a pause once again, before his daemon chimes in instead, a brief 'Oh Give me that, this isn't the time for us to be 'humble'!' preceding.]

I do apologize for the stammering-but to the point. Sans named Noboru-and by extension myself, I suppose-as his 'Deputy' not long ago. Given this, it seems he would have wanted us to cover for him in a time like this; I don't suppose you were notified of that just yet, Ringmaster?

I hadn't been, but I can see no reason for you to lie about it. The responsibilities are yours! Maybe your new form will help you be a bit more successful in your efforts.

Does one of us need to retrieve the body or does the magic take care of that on it's own?

I don't have any idea where the body is. The ritual is much cleaner and easier if I have parts or all of the body, but it can be done without. It will probably just take longer... I know monsters are notoriously difficult to find after they die.

[She devolves into nervous stuttering but it's pretty clear she's more upset about Sans coming back to life than being dead for... some reason.]

Alphys. I understand that monsters have unique physiology, but I have complete confidence in my ability to bring him back successfully.

[She's not thinking too hard about the melting related business, but she is vaguely aware of it.]

Can you set up another ritual once he's reformed? Because after he comes back, I might just kill him.

As tempting as it may be, I can't recommend it.

[She's sympathetic to that comment, though. She was pretty frustrated to discover it as well.]

But... we shouldn't pass preemptive judgement. We don't know what he was doing when it happened... though I wouldn't be surprised if it involved his brother. I knew there'd be trouble, the moment Papyrus was gone.

[She considers darkly for a moment. Scout doesn't much like Sans - not to the point of disliking really but she has no desire to get to know him - but she respects what he's been shown to be capable of.]

Probably a Harbinger, if not CY-Ren herself. They'd be the only one who realistically could, this isn't a place with Fae. And they have the will for it.

Well... there is one fae.

Nightshade was seen at the concert that started all of this. She's an assassin of the Summer Court, and I believe she and Sans had an encounter in Portland.

I'm not sure why she would kill him specifically, though. That wouldn't bring her any closer to her objectives.

[Rita's tone is flat, and one might expect she's going to follow that with some snippy criticism, but instead...]

Hypothetically... what would happen if a Harbinger were to enter the carnival grounds?

They would lose a considerable portion of their powers in my realm... I have dominion there, which would interfere with their connection to the Void. It would probably be enough that a group of you could capture them.

I haven't seen any of them come close enough, though.

Thorns. [They're just lucky it was someone who could revive, aren't they?] I--[There's a pause as Syrlya briefly considers how actually helpless he is in this situation. It leaves him feeling directionless, but he has little experience with unbrainwashing more powerful beings in a way thay keeps them alive.
