Hmm. So... public announcement. In case this comes out later. Some of you may not know, but I offer reincarnation services for certain members of the carnival, which... mostly means I will bring them back from death, under certain circumstances.

As it turns out. Sans has managed to to trigger his rebirth ritual... which is to say, he's died somehow. I'm not sure how or precisely when, I have just visited the place where I keep such things, and his candle is lit.

I'm sure he'll fill us all in when he's reborn a while from now! In the meantime, be aware. There's no way of knowing who or what caught up with him. My focus is on defending the carnival, so if you are concerned for your safety, please remain within its grounds.

I don't have any idea where the body is. The ritual is much cleaner and easier if I have parts or all of the body, but it can be done without. It will probably just take longer... I know monsters are notoriously difficult to find after they die.

I can't scry for a corpse but I can at least take a look around or try to trace his magic. After all, it's something I can do.

It's a long shot, but if you could find something it would be appreciated. His magic is fairly distinctive... but physically, you'll be looking for a pile of dust somewhere, most likely. Maybe... ectoplasm?

It's like... a goo? That ghosts leave behind, and other similar things? Monsters don't usually bleed, as I understand it, but Sans would... dispense it. From his body. In various ways.

Also his clothes, maybe. I don't think they would fall to dust.

Does that mean he's going to hatch naked? Does everybody hatch naked?

Does the, erm, hatching area have a bathrobe? Because if not, I highly recommend that one be kept nearby. Sans might not use it, but certain other members of the carnival who will likely be hatched might feel a bit more comfortable if after their rebirth, everything is...covered.

That sounds like more of a reason not to have a bathrobe around to me. Maybe remembering they're going to end up naked in front of whoever's around will remind them not to do something as stupid as getting killed in the first place.

Oh good Lord...I know it's hard to believe, but there are people other than me who also wouldn't enjoy the idea of dealing with resurrection in the nude. So consider this a formal request for a bathrobe in the hatching area.
