[PUBLIC CHANNEL] RINGMASTER'S SEVENTH ADDRESS (D22)
[With what is probably hilariously ironic timing after Yuya's radio conversation about using friendship to win, the radios will light up green with a message from the Ringmaster. She sounds... a bit disturbed, but playing it cool.]
Hmm. So... public announcement. In case this comes out later. Some of you may not know, but I offer reincarnation services for certain members of the carnival, which... mostly means I will bring them back from death, under certain circumstances.
As it turns out. Sans has managed to to trigger his rebirth ritual... which is to say, he's died somehow. I'm not sure how or precisely when, I have just visited the place where I keep such things, and his candle is lit.
I'm sure he'll fill us all in when he's reborn a while from now! In the meantime, be aware. There's no way of knowing who or what caught up with him. My focus is on defending the carnival, so if you are concerned for your safety, please remain within its grounds.
That is all.

[She considers darkly for a moment. Scout doesn't much like Sans - not to the point of disliking really but she has no desire to get to know him - but she respects what he's been shown to be capable of.]
Probably a Harbinger, if not CY-Ren herself. They'd be the only one who realistically could, this isn't a place with Fae. And they have the will for it.

Nightshade was seen at the concert that started all of this. She's an assassin of the Summer Court, and I believe she and Sans had an encounter in Portland.
I'm not sure why she would kill him specifically, though. That wouldn't bring her any closer to her objectives.

[why don't they just get real jobs. Scout hesitates again, but she's thought it, she should ask it.]
Ringmaster, is it... permissible, to kill one of our Harbingers if it comes to that? Better to bring them back alive, I know, and I don't want anyone to have to resort to it in an extremity. Including me. [But combat is always dangerous, and to fight with a lightsaber means always knowing death is a likely result.]

[She sounds a least a little understanding, but there is also a firm refusal there.]
As far as I'm concerned, their safety is paramount.

[You can tell Scout doesn't really like that. She's both more bloody-minded and more detatched-selfless than some other characters, and always somewhat concerned for the people who live on the worlds they visit.
But just as she's raised to value strangers she's also raised to not question authority, not when it's a solid line set, anyway.]
What should we do about Nightshade? I'm sure she'll be at this new concert.

We still don't know concretely what she's doing here.

[It's in an assassin's interests to be able to go unnoticed but, well, Scout knows fae are weird about perception.]
The invisibility glamour I'm paying for this year [which is about half over now, isn't it] didn't work all that great in the Manor, but could it work against her?
