[Some of them, anyway. Ginko knows he did.]

[The mock cheriness in his voice fades to be replaced with genuine happiness.]

Hey. Where are you?

I'm actually on the planet right now - Zargon. I don't know if you've been down here yet, though; I can come back to the carnival if you want.

Come back and we can explore it together.

I'll be right back, then. Where should I meet you?

[He thinks about it for a second.]

The ticket booths?

Works for me. Give me a minute.

[Sure enough, it just takes a bit for him to get back up to the spaceship to return his suit, then from there to the carnival grounds.

He starts toward the booth area, his tail flicking a couple times - now that he has it again. That's always gonna be a little weird to get used to. Then he gets close enough to catch sight of Psi, and he breaks into a smile.]

Psi!

[Psi turns as he hears his name, and smiles back when he sees Ginko coming towards him. It's a smile of relief, as he takes in Ginko's appearance and notes not much has changed. He's glad, from the way his pets had acted he though he'd been gone a while. But Ginko looks just the same as ever, and as the other man draws nearer, the Psionic wraps his sort-of-moirail in a hug.]

Hey.

[His voice is soft. The one word greeting is stupidly small, but insignificant. The greeting not as meaningful to the Psionic as the contact itself. He missed this. Just as he missed the trolls back home when he was here. He pulls back after a moment and just meets Ginko's gaze.]

It's good to see you.

[This is when Grubbin climbs atop Psi's head and sends little electric sparks of his own energy out in greeting. He squeaks down at Ginko and Psi laughs.]

[Even with his excited relief at seeing Psi again, it's sort of shocking what a jolt that hug is - like stepping out of chilly, late-fall air and into a heated house. He curls his fingers against Psi's back, the gesture as sincere as it is awkward.]

You too. [He gives a quiet laugh, and reaches up to pat Grubbin's head, too, while he's at it.] That "short trip" got pretty long, didn't it.

[Psi smiles as Ginko pats Grubbin. It just seems like such a Ginko thing to do, and he takes Ginko's hand in his squeezing it tightly, even as his expression shifts from joy to something more apologetic.]

How long was I?

[He hadn't really know for certain he'd been gone for longer than he meant until then, but Grubbin's reaction at the sight of him had been a big tip that something was amiss. Still, he never would have guessed that what felt like days to him was over a month back here at the carnival.]

About... a month or so, I'd say? How long was it on your end?

[Asked as casually as he can, because if Psi knows how worried he was, then he'll probably feel bad, and nobody needs that.]

[His brows crease, that's a long time.]

It was just a few days.

[He gives Ginko's hand a squeeze.]

I'm sorry.

[dontpokethat]

[Ginko squeezes back, smiling gently at Psi.] Time seems to get a little strange between here and the outside. It's not your fault.

[He smiles back, coming closer to Ginko, before shifting to the side and kissing the human's cheek.]

So, you going to show me around?

[He asks, staying close, his voice near a whisper in Ginko's ear.]

[There's that jolt again - though not quite so noticeable as it had been the first time. Just the regular amount. He gives a quiet laugh, and his ear flicks at the tickle of Psi's breath. He replies with his voice low, too, though not as much as Psi's.]

Sure. Any reason for the whispering?

[dorkypantsuit]

[Psi smiles, before pulling back and shrugging.]

It's sexy?

[dontpokethat]

Is it? Are you sure?

[He'll have to take your word for it, Psi, but also it's time to grin like a jackass.]

[dorkypantsuit]

[His smile widens.]

Well apparently not to you. But most people would be dragging me behind a booth right about now.

[dontpokethat]

Would they, now. Looks like I'm learning all kinds of things about what's attractive today.

[And as he says that he's just gonna kind of. Bump his forehead against Psi's. Just to make sure he knows he's joking, and not actually doubting his Sexiness Judgment.]

[Of course he knows, Ginko, did you forget how much he likes joking around while he was gone?]

I could show you a lot more if you like.

[Psi remarks, smirking. His lower set of arms shift as his hands trail down Ginko's back.]

[Of course he didn't forget - but he'd rather be safe than sorry here, alright. Besides, he just likes resting his forehead on Psi's like this, it's nice.

Ginko snorts and raises his eyebrows, and his free hand drops to stop one of the hands moving down his back. He'll just... ignore the faint pang of guilt at stopping Psi, again - even knowing that he really is probably just messing around.

But that's beside the point. Just... he won't worry about it right now.]

Actually, I do still need to show you this place, don't I?

[It's a completely mundane conversation, but that doesn't matter. It's Ginko, laughing and smiling at him, and the Psionic realizes it doesn't matter what they're talking about or even what they're doing. If he's with Ginko, he's happy, and suddenly he wants to kiss him.

But he think Ginko might not like it, and it feels stupid to ask, so he doesn't. Instead he takes Ginko's hand in his, and holds it tight.]

Then show me.

[Ginko gives a short nod, his ears perking up a little, and he pulls Psi gently toward the carnival's exit.]

Apparently, most of the planet isn't habitable; the carnival and everything are in a... biodome, I think it was called? We'll have to rent spacesuits to leave - and you'll probably just look like you did before coming here. There are species from all over.

[dorkypantsuit]

[He follows, just happy to be with his stupid boyfriend.]

I'll probably just look like I did before?

[He asks, raising an eyebrow. Why would any of them need to change if all aliens were accepted?]

Probably. Most of us have to be disguised, but, apparently, that's because humans aren't allowed in the, uh. Space Olympics.

[Yep, that's what it's called.]
