It seems useful for everyone to know that the Blue Rose is currently trying to escape its container. It's not succeeding... but it is certainly trying. I'm keeping an eye on it for now, but my current assumption is that our assailants are somehow responsible.

It's possible that lightning might fair better, but I wouldn't count on it. Though, the sheer concussive force might do something, the real problem is getting rid of the cuttings in a way that won't risk it spreading.

If the rose can't be burned, can the cuttings be burned? Or, what if like... Someone ate them? Like an animal or maybe someone's pokemon!

No, the cuttings can't be burned, either. That's the whole problem.

And I'm fairly certain that eating them would be as big of a contamination risk as putting them anywhere else.

I guess it would be! It would be funny if it worked, though.

[Too bad he doesn't have any good suggestions, and the only person he knows who can talk to plants is incapacitated...]

Can we just bury them next to the rose? I know it's not a good answer, but... At least that way we know where they are.

Mm... the trouble is that underground is perhaps the worst place they could be. The Rose is attempting to bury itself as we speak.

Oh. [Then yeah, he can definitely see how it being underground would be bad. He figured it was just... somehow growing out or something. He doesn't even really know exactly what sort of container they're talking about after all.]

Then I guess that is a bad idea. I could make it float, probably, in the air, but I'd have to keep casting the spell so it wouldn't be a good idea... Maybe we really do just have to watch and wait for now.
