Ok. Ok. It's fine. It'll be fine... I can help you find the other bit, maybe -- there's a lot of other Wyld Fae interference but the Ringmaster is unique enough that... probably-- [he pauses to take a breath and collect his thoughts. ] You're with one'a the pieces right now. Have ya already made it to the central temple?

I'm already at the temple but I returned alone. If you could track down the other part... She'll be the more reckless one, I gather.

You are not making my job easy! Where IS the one that doesn't want to fight? I don't want to accidentally find the one you already have the location of--!

She was on a rooftop over in the [ insert location here i guess ] part of the city.

[moonfang]

[he grumbles and thinks hard for a moment, casting his senses out]

... From what I can tell, she hasn't moved from there. There's a lot of interference from those hunt assholes, but I'll see what I can do.

[atouts]

Don't get yourself eaten, Zangetsu. I'm not in the mood of irony today.

I'm the last guy you need to worry about, boss.

[A short while later--]

I found the other half. She's [at some location] and I'm tailing her. What should I do?

[atouts]

Keep following her as long as you can. If she has any trouble existing... well... let us know.

[moonfang]

She seems ta be doin' fine. She's takin' out a bunch of the Hunt people as she goes. I'll keep an eye on her.

[atouts]

[ And pretty much right after Ignatius' announcement... and he sounds just a little stressed. Just a little. ]

Zangetsu, I'm not sure the Ringmaster is going to pull it together soon enough to save us. Ignatius is offering protection from the Hunt but you need to return to the temple now.

[moonfang]

Ignatius? [Zangetsu suspects that Ignatius did something -- he may not be aware of the heart thing, but missing a spiritual awakening like that would be like missing a supernova.

He is quiet for a moment before he thinks of what he wants to say]

.... Do you trust him?

We returned his power to him, no deals or demands attached. He could have simply left us to our fates. Instead he offers to protect us.

[ And just to make sure Zangetsu knows what that entails, he doesn't even hide what it involves. ]

It does mean becoming one of his own changelings but... only until the danger has passed.

[moonfang]

[there is only the background noise of the hunt for a few moments. Ignatius was at full power again, and instead of cutting and running, he had chosen to... help them?

It all seemed too good to be true. But what choice do they have? Zangetsu was faring better than most, but even he would get tired eventually. He couldn't run forever]

How can I get in to the temple?

Find one of my birds. Kill it and wait by any shadow you killed it by. I'll find you.

[ And there's a lot of shadowy crows still flitting about out there, so it shouldn't take too long. ]

[it doesn't take long to track down one of Childermass' crows, since they all have a touch of him in them. He grabs the shadowy bird by the neck and finds a shaded alleyway before snapping its spine]

[atouts]

[ Having been expecting this, it only takes seconds for Childermass to appear through the shadows. He'll hold his hand out for Zangetsu to take, just at the hunters catch wind of them both and turn to flood their way. ]

Shit--! [there were so many of them, an endless tide. One Hollow only had so much stamina!

(Even if eating his kills helped with that significantly.)

He grabs Childermass' hand and lets himself be taken into the shadows]
