PUBLIC CHANNEL

EVERYONE JUST--SHUT UP!

DON'T MOVE, DON'T TALK, DON'T BREATHE!

[Sherlock, you're not doing much to improve your standing in this Carnival, are you?]

[Jimmy's still baffled by the markers working underwater, but he wipes the board clean before writing in small letters near the top and then passing the board over.]

Anything I can do to help?

[If nothing else, it might give Sherlock's voice a break, since all that shouting can't be good.]

[After another moment of hoping nobody's missed the spare whiteboard, Jimmy nods. There's a second of him looking out at the grounds, one tentacle curling around a rock as he thinks.]

Taking the back way. Avoid the main concourse entirely. Quieter.

Probably.

[Jimmy holds this up and waits for Sherlock's nod that he's read it before erasing everything and writing something else]

1 sec. to call Zecora. Warn her. Maybe get an isolation room going.

[Jimmy nods and slips outside to call ahead to Zecora and warn her that Sherlock's acting strange. The new sets of horns get mentioned, along with the speculation that Jimmy doesn't think Sherlock's pissed off anyone in the immediate past.

He heads back inside and scrawls a last message on the whiteboard]

You ready?

[And then he offers a hand to either help Sherlock up (mostly on reflex, since everything's underwater) or lead him over to Zecora's, whichever he prefers.]

Jimmy gives Sherlock a smile that's trying to be reassuring, but looks more like a thin veneer over worry. But Zecora said that she knows how to fix it, so all they need to do is get to her.

Which shouldn't be all that difficult, since it's not that far from the trailers to the medical station. The hand-holding gets a little confusing, given how webbed Jimmy's hands are, but it's easy enough to sort out. Figuring out the quietest route is the hard part. Jimmy opts for hugging the edges of the grounds, trying to use the trailers and crowds as baffle to make this a little less agonizing for Sherlock.
