PUBLIC CHANNEL

Out of curiosity, you know, for no particular reason at all, is anyone truly unhappy about being held against their will in this Carnival? What would you do if you had a chance to be free of your contract?

[If there's injustice about, he's got a motive for...certain activities that he believes could free them all from this Carnival.]

I'm not having this out with you over the radio, Sherlock. Where are you.

I'm heading to your trailer now. Please be there.

Yes. But I'd like to think that you're better than slinking off when someone's calling you on your crap, Sherlock.

[Jimmy's on his way.]

I'd like to think otherwise. I'm almost to your trailer, Sherlock. Will you let me in?

[Jimmy's almost there, trying to avoid swimming there at max speed to give Sherlock time to run, or not.]

Thank you.

[There's a knock at the trailer door.]

[He opens the door and drifts in, closing it behind him. He stays in the living room equivalent, careful to give Sherlock space. Jimmy's hesitant when he starts talking, carefully choosing his words.]

Thank you for staying. I was concerned that you'd try something against the Ringmaster, and I'm sorry for what I said to get you to listen to me. But if what you're planning is on my behalf in any way, shape or form, then I would like to ask you to reconsider.

I don't know. I think both of us would have been disappointed with the results.

[He takes a moment to get his thoughts in order before continuing. It's not 'talking someone off a ledge' delicate, but Jimmy doesn't want to lose Sherlock as a friend or see Sherlock get punished for something he partially did on Jimmy's behalf.]

It's.... I don't want to see anyone get hurt because of me. Not on my behalf, not to protect me, nobody gets hurt because of me. Not again. And what would have happened if it didn't work? She would come down on you like the wrath of God, and she'd probably be impressed with your ingenuity and dedication as she turned you back into a lizard and left you there for the rest of your contract.

No, I'd assume not. She's probably playing some sort of long game that involves giving up her power for however long this lasts.

[Jimmy moves like he's going to lean against the couch, but it only looks awkward as he doesn't have any legs. So he improvises to sitting on the arm of the couch.]

And even if you do manage it, what happens after? She stays dead, and we're stranded here? Cut loose and drifting through the multiple universes out there in our self-contained little fishbowl?

There's also no guarantee that, best case scenario and everyone goes home, that everyone goes back to someplace safe. I can't speak for everyone else, but if I go back, I'm pretty sure I'll die.

[It's not a truth that Jimmy really wants to face, but Castiel was walking all of them into a reservoir, and assuming Jimmy survived, there was no way he'd be able to reach the surface in time.]
