[The voice that comes over the public channel is... odd, and new to most folks here. He pauses for a bit, as if that's the entire thought-- but, sure enough, he follows it with an obviously annoyed question.]

So we're just kind of... here, because they say so? Like... this can't be legal, can it? Has anybody tried talking to the fuckin' police about this?

[As he speaks, he gets increasingly irritated, his voice breaking.]

I'm gonna be real with you guys: I've got half a mind to just kinda magic my way out, except I'm pretty sure the Ringleader or whatever would come after me. Is that a thing?

That's totally a thing. She's pretty dang awful. I'm not saying it's right to go with the path of least resistance, but also, you might wanna go with the path of least resistance.

... so, uh. I gotta ask. What all's... you know, been done to you so far? I hear there's some sort of... mutations?

But I got weird colored eyes; my gums and my tongue's all long and a different color and forked?; I got a ton of super sharp skinny teeth; my fingers are webbed...

Seems kinda random for everybody.

Hey, look, I'm just tryin' to get a frame of reference for what I'm in for here, y'know? I got no idea what's going to happen to me, and I'm just kind of stuck with it no matter what, so pardon me if I wanna try and brace myself for impact.

Anyway, everything that happens to everyone is different. The only constant is that it usually sucks and is embarrassing. First change I got was like—weird... purple frog eyes, and the teeth and tongue.

[Despite how sharp his words still are, he definitely sounds a lot more chill. Seems he just had a little fit.]

Sucks and is embarrassing, huh? I gotta tell you, I am not excited for my own to start.

Believe me, I wasn't walkin' in here anywhere near the vicinity of throwin' a party about it when I first got here. And I didn't wanna show my face, when the changes started happening. You get used to it, but... cuz you got no choice but to do just that.

At least there's usually always someone weirder lookin' than you are...
