If anyone, older member or newer arrival, wants information on... [ oh lord, this is going to take a while. Strange sighs slightly before obviously reading off a list of terms he's written down. ] Arcadia, the Rose Queen, Ignatius, Nightshade, the Count of Crows, Frost, the Summer Court, the Winter Court, how faerie court hierarchies work, the Wyld Fae, or the Beast, then I'll be happy to tell you what I know. I picked up some knowledge from my time in Portland and through conversations with the fae here and, for obvious reasons, don't want to bore all of you with far too many details and speculations at once.

[ There's a pause, partly to catch his friggen breath, before Strange continues talking. ]

I can at least explain Portland, though--for our new arrivals, of course. It's a city where the carnival was recently trapped for a month. Many members had their memories altered and believed they lived in the city for their entire lives. It was a...trying experience.

[ Understatement of the century. Strange sighs, like he's steeling himself for what he's going to say next. ]

Portland had it's own set of fae, some of whom I mentioned in my previous list. Plenty of the carnival members have ill-will towards those fae, who seemed determined to vex us and ruin our lives during that month. And despite the fact that we've left that world, I've a feeling that we'll see those fae again. Now that the Severing's removed, they can travel to different worlds the same way the Ringmaster can. And it wouldn't surprise me if some tried to reclaim what or who they believe they lost.

[ how dramatic! And quite possibly the worst way to end a broadcast as Strange just flips the radio off then and there. He has absolutely no clue how to best END the broadcast so not being cryptic is officially for chumps. ]

[They can't all be the main protagonist in a shonen friendship show. It certainly doesn't help that she's, well-] ...Of course I don't know what happened. I wasn't there. [A touch straight forward.

...but you don't know if some of the new people have already seen either. ...it's hard to feel how everyone feels right now, since I can't feel that through these, but...I guess that what you said means you're still scared to fight, then...I don't know what your worst is though.

...for the kind of death that is permanent, that's the biggest worse I could think of.

I don't know if it's possible for everyone to have their world destroyed, and then broken into other worlds, and turned into people that forgot about it. ...that's the Bigger worst, since it means everything happens again, but I don't know if that one can happen.

...but if you don't think you should fight, and that staying too scared to fight is better...what do you think Will happen?

Oh, I'm a nightrunner, I know I'm going to fight at some point. [ he's just not sure he's going to WIN. ]

As for what will happen, I'm not sure--hence why I made this broadcast. Whatever happens, at least people now know more about who we'll be going up against.

...Yuuya said I have to listen to the Nightrunners to stay safe, but he didn't say what those people do. Are they like Lancers?

I'm afraid I can't answer that question--simply because I don't know what a Lancer is!

[ Now that the conversation's shifting, Strange is becoming a LOT more relaxed and a LOT more calm. ]

Niisama made the Lancers from a team of duelists, to fight Academia, and stop them from invading other dimensions and destroying them! I was one, and Gongenzaka and Yuuya was one too, but things got sort of changed at the end I guess...

...They're really strong though.

[ Thankfully, Strange is a bit oblivious to the fact that literally everything in Yu-Gi-Oh revolves around card games & selling that merch. ]

Then yes, I suppose you could say that we're like Lancers! The job of the Nightrunners is to scout ahead on whatever worlds we visit as well as to protect the carnival in case of an attack.

Considering who our Nightrider is, I wouldn't recommend listening to everything he says in the first place.

[ friends happily throw other friends under the bus. ]

The Nightrider is the one in charge of the Nightrunners, by the way. He's a man named Lambert.

Reira Akaba. [Quite simple, basically. ...Uh.] ...Do I call you Strange, or Jonathan though?

[Come to think, when she looks back...the last name or first name deal varied.

She sort of just stuck with what the majority were using.]

You can call me whichever you like, [ said with a shrug. ] What should I call you?

[ because look, it is VERY HARD to guess genders of small children over the radio (especially when you've only interacted with a handful of small children to begin with in Strange's case) so he's got no idea if Reira's a Miss Akaba or a Mr. Akaba. ]

Hmmmm...Strange doesn't sound like a name so... Jonathan then! [Countdown to someone overhearing and laughing starts now-]

...Reira is okay.

[Also, it appears he gets to guess that one bit.]

What do you mean it doesn't sound like a name? It's my name, so of course it sounds like a name!

Strange is a word you use for weird things.

So I think if that before I think of a name.

Plenty of other words are also names. Forest, Black, Pole, and so on and so forth. We've a few carnival members with names that are other words as well--what would you call them?

Those also sound like words.

But they're also names. You're going to be terribly confused when you meet Joker, Scout, and Peridot if you aren't able to adjust to words being names.

I've never heard of a Peridot.

The other things are words for people though, not describing words, so those are fine!

You haven't? [ hmm, how to explain this. ] It can either be a gemstone or the color of the gemstone. It's a light, greenish color.

Hmmmmm.

[Hmmm.] Is it just their name or are they a rock?

[ Strange is still wrapping his head around the concept of gems but they can walk, they can move, they can lift couches, and they can yell at him, ergo they aren't rocks. ]

...It's still okay for a name I guess. It doesn't sound right if I say 'peridot peridot', but I can say 'strange Strange'....

Considering Peridot is peridot, I'm afraid it still fits.

You're the one who said peridot is 'green'. I don't even know what kind of green it would be, so I'm not thinking about weird things like that when I say it.

Strange still just sounds funny.
