You don't dig as deep as I do, Lambert. Did you even go into the library in Malie? There are some that can look just like humans, they just can't speak out loud and maybe can't write about philosophical treatises or do high-level math, but then, that fits a lot of humans too. And Pokemon and humans in that world are related.

[She's not completely making this up, but she did read about Zoroark and those Sinnoh tales about were-Pokemon and the times when Pokemon and humans intermarried and couldn't be told one from the other.]

I didn't get to check if those humans come from eggs too, though. It'd be weird if they were the one thing that didn't.

How tough are these things, anyway? Carrying them seems like the fastest way to get them broken.

Well... I saw some people just carrying them around, but the ones out breeding them in large numbers kept them in pokeballs. They'd just burst out when they were ready to hatch. Got any left?
