But since they supposedly take after the mother, it won't actually be a horse. It'll be a donkey. All the more fitting, I suppose, considering how stubborn they are.

[ Yes, there's no proof that thing is Baker's fault but it makes Childermass SO ANNOYED to talk about his new donkey grandbaby so it is now 100% Baker's fault. ]

A donkey...well, I suppose that makes Mister Norrell a perfect name for the creature!

I daresay Lascelles or Drawlight would be just as fitting, for other reasons, but even I would consider that too cruel.
