What's stopping anyone from just up and leaving this ridiculous place?

Yeah... I don't think it's too easy to get in contact with people who aren't inside already. Also there's apparently rules against telling people who show up here how it works?

Are you sure? Anyone tried yet?

[John wouldn't understand if Sherlock had managed to get in contact with him and explain he wanted to join a carnival. He'd know something was wrong and he'd end up somehow with a contract of his own probably in an attempt to free him.
