Attention everyone! This is your Papyrus speaking. I have discovered... a library! By which I mean, I asked if there were books, and somebody led me here. Some of you, I'm sure, are saying to yourselves... "What's the point of this announcement? I don't read? Why are you telling us this, besides letting us hear your voice...?"

Well! That's really quite simple. Some of us don't sleep... at all?? Which makes the whole curfew thing kind of a nightmare. The not-dreaming, bored kind.

Thusly: I've decided to entertain myself, and all of you (who choose to tune in), with audiobooks! The kind where you can't fast forward, because it's just me, live, reading a book. But you can suggest books! I am open to whatever.

So catch me tonight! At curfew! On my channel! 172.79787!

What sorts of books are there?

I didn't see any order to how they were sorted! Not by color, which is the easiest thing... But there was poetry in one shelf, and some story about courtship in another. Maybe it's by genre.

Then you should look for ones with adventures. You know, fighting and monsters and stuff.

Yeah! 'Cause, otherwise just having to stay in your room is boring... I don't even have a room at home. Just the whole forest.

Huh?! No room? But where do you keep your things, your stuff, your accumulated belongings... without walls clearly demarking their ownership?

Well, it's just me and Lauren, so, it's not that big a deal. And we don't have a lot, anyway.

Just you and... Wow! Two brothers, united against the world. Not even pranking each other with frogs in beds, or anything...

A frog in a bed isn't a very good prank! Especially when you live in the forest. Then there's just frogs in your bed sometimes 'cause they got lost.

It's a classic, it doesn't have to be good. Some of the classicest classics are terrible... And traditional. But! It sounds like nature has it covered! You're free to try new and better pranks as you like.

D'you think that would be a good prank? It'd suck if he just squished me though... I guess I'd probably turn back when that happened though.

That would spoil the prank... hmmm. Maybe the solution, in this case, is to put the cart before the horse. The bed before the frog! If you hide in a squishless zone, near his bed, you can jump on him! As long as he has the chance to see the trap, and still trigger it... he'll have the chance to regret falling for it!

Oh, well. I'll be honest, I've never hid a frog in a bed! Or turned into a frog. Maybe someone else knows how it works.

Maybe! Maybe I'll just... Not do it though. I'm not even in his room now, anyway. It's kind of weird.

These random room assignments... they really do mess ith prank plans. Save it for later! When we... get back.

Let me see... I actually think I saw a few books that seemed familiar, once upon a time.

"Strange Case of Doctor Jekyll", "Wuthering Heights", and "Jane Eyre" were things I heard were good from someone I know. See if any of those are about?

An intriguing variety of titles... I'll go and scope them out, if they're here.

[And there he goes into the library with the radio still on. At least he lowered the device's volume...]

[Don't count those hopes and dreams too quickly, he's still talking to himself. A lower voice, probably a little lower than a normal speaking voice, but lots enough for the radio to pick up.]

This is... a lot of poetry. And... Is that one faerie tales? Reading what other people think of him... How relatable.

Oh yeah, this is still on! Hello again! You're right, they probably aren't all about him. I wonder if any are about... any other fae we met? That would be neat.

We'd probably have ta pay for information like that, I would think. Probably just fairy tales that humans have written, honestly. Secondhand information like that is always fiddly.

If this is a book for people with a sense of fun, then it's proven! But... Medical mystery stories, huh? I wouldn't have guessed that was your style.

Ha, that's because it ain't. I prefer fairy tales, nursery rhymes- stuff ya can tell kids I suppose.

But I... know someone who liked ta read a lot, once we got him inta it. I know that was a book he was fond of.

What a shame! I realize it's not your fault. Lots of people have to sleep.

[As multiple people have told him, the last few months. He's much more informed about it. To the point that, even if he and Sans get back into a comfortable cohabitation, Papyrus won't give his brother nearly so much grief about his sleeping habits again.]

So, I'll read from your book request first. That way you can hear some before you doze off.
