Hahaha... uh. I don't usually ask for things, but I know swords aren't uncommon here... is there anyone willing and able to teach them?
I'll warn you I'm very stupid, so you'll probably have to beat it into me, but I'll repay your time!
I'll do anything you want... except die.
If that's what you want, you'll have to do it yourself! So don't ask.

All he knows (or at least remembers) about Taako is that Taako has a twin sister, who he forgot and then remembered again.]
You already know how to use a bow.
[What did Taako do, learn the entire armoury?]

[Taako can't honestly remember who taught him how to fire an arrow, or wield a sword; some family member after he and Lup had been dumped on them, or maybe a foster parent or some warrior on the road. Either way, he's known how to wield them as long as he can remember, and that's a pretty long ways, considering his age.]

[Foster isn't being wholly dismissive so much as he's expressing his ambivalence; it isn't really his place to comment on what defines a reasonable or practical bit of cultural heritage. But it's irrelevant to what they're talking about now anyway.
So, kind of dismissive. Just in a benign way.]

But is there actually a stance for something like me?
[That.... well, actually that doesn't sound fake so much as it sounds like something he somehow should have anticipated and didn't.]

[THINGS HE DIDN'T THINK ABOUT. He's so not used to Foster being a centaur yet.]
Listen, I'm bipedal, okay, I learned how to do it the biped way, but I'll do my best.
