"With the power of the Silver Mirror, the Nephalem Lilith was able to create a realm according to their desires - a realm where the Beasts could devise the Soul that would lead them, and build a perfect world. While the rest of the multiverse spiraled into Chaos, Lilith aspired towards Perfection."

[ It had taken a bit to scour the book for any other bit of information once he'd gotten it back from one of the stupidest book specters he had to misfortune of running into but now that he has, here he is, reading the first bit over the radio.

Following that, he adds, asking,

Has anyone else found something regarding a mirror? I believe this may be one of the miracles but confirmation would be nice to have.

[ ooc, feel free to threadjack as needed ]

Yes. Realm is a more general term than it may sound. It really means anything that is created by magical will as opposed to formed in the chaos of Creation. They are much smaller than a universe like yours, but the space is all filled with things of purpose.

Yet, it does rely on the power of those that live within it to retain its form.

All of Arcadia is a realm, for example. Or, perhaps a few different realms linked together.

Oh, yeah... cause it's really personal to them, right? [Not that personal things can't linger past death, but given the whole 'magical will' thing that's a little doubtful.]

What about getting in? Does Lilith have to let us in first, or come outside?

It depends. Entry is primarily a battle of wills and power... for instance, with the Prince, I was only permitted entry with his permission, because his realm was being supported by the Blue Rose. That gave him the power to be far more protected than a single fae usually would be.

Accessing a realm comes in two parts - finding its 'location', or 'frequency' and then opening a gateway for yourself. The latter can be done by force, or entered freely if its left accessible.

It's much easier if you already have a connection to something inside of it... a foot in the door, as it were. That's what happened to the carnival when we were attacked by Morningstar.

Oh, I guess it's like traveling dimensions then. [a pause.] It kind of is traveling dimensions...

[Okay, he's got a frame of reference for that at least.] You really think this is one of the miracles?

Well, it does have a pleasant naming cadence, doesn't it? The Blue Rose. The Silver Mirror. It even sounds like a set.

Maybe we can find the last one by looking at its name, too. [Color and 'object that does not remotely evoke the duality concept it's supposed to be about'.] Like... The Green Windchime?

[S... omething like that.

Despite his theorizing, having it confirmed results in a growing hesitance in his voice. Finding information makes actually going to get it that much more of a reality.]

Personally, since it sounds like the Queens just used whatever was lying around their rooms for inspiration, my bet's on the Golden Smallclothes.

That's... [You know, he can't actually argue the first part of that.] Too crude for a Queen.

[Probably.] Maybe it's a haircomb.

Maybe, but what does a haircomb have to do with wood and rot?

[ Since he assumes a mirror would refer to 'sun and shade' ... ]

You get linen when you break down flax. Why couldn't it be clothes?

What does a mirror have to do with sun and shade? [He doesn't think these are terribly related to each other.]

It could be clothes, but it's probably not underwear. [He did not know that's where linen comes from, though.]
