"With the power of the Silver Mirror, the Nephalem Lilith was able to create a realm according to their desires - a realm where the Beasts could devise the Soul that would lead them, and build a perfect world. While the rest of the multiverse spiraled into Chaos, Lilith aspired towards Perfection."

Can't say I have much experience with angels nor demons. [Akuma were different. They were just machinery and dead souls.] I'd say without either nothing would feel quite that complete.

We don't really have them where I'm from and things seem pretty complete to me! They're more of a metaphor there. But, we've got plenty of weird and complex things ourselves. They're just not, ah, charged with inherent morality to that degree.

Light or Dark. Demon or Angel, good or evil. The world cannot exist without opposing forces. It would be terribly boring otherwise but also less of something to cling to. Not that I'm saying peace isn't a common goal and that is usually what drives those to claim and tear away one or the other. But yes, it is my given impression that angels didn't' have that much charge to begin with, at least in stories.
