"With the power of the Silver Mirror, the Nephalem Lilith was able to create a realm according to their desires - a realm where the Beasts could devise the Soul that would lead them, and build a perfect world. While the rest of the multiverse spiraled into Chaos, Lilith aspired towards Perfection."
[ It had taken a bit to scour the book for any other bit of information once he'd gotten it back from one of the stupidest book specters he had to misfortune of running into but now that he has, here he is, reading the first bit over the radio.

Has anyone else found something regarding a mirror? I believe this may be one of the miracles but confirmation would be nice to have.
[ ooc, feel free to threadjack as needed ]

[ Wait, stupid fucking question. The Library's fucking huge. ]
Never mind. I'll just keep yelling until I hear you yelling back.
[ And thus the stupidest game of Marco Polo was born. ]

[dumb, loud Marco Polo. It's a good thing there's no actual enforcers of "BE QUIET IN THE LIBRARY" here.
Or are there...???
Zangetsu's dumb rabbit ear twitches as he hears someone calling his name. He stands up and flares his energy just enough to send up a small pillar-like blip of red and black] OIIII! Over here!!
> action from here on out
It'll take a few (and no vengeful library ghosts are showing up to swat Lambert down... yet) but yeah, Lambert does here Zangetsu's voice eventually.
Only problem is, he's about three floors up, squinting down where he is from a balcony randomly jutting out into a large, atrium-like area. ]
You coming up here or not? [ He calls, waving. Because you know, like hell he's jumping. ]
ACTION!
His ears twitch again. The voice and Lambert's reiatsu are closer, now... Ah. Up.]
Ah? How did ya get up there?! [probably some of those stairs made of actual books. Or, like, non-euclidian geometry. Who knows] Hold yer horses. [Zangetsu grasps the portfolio he found the drawing in, then crouches, and springs from the floor to a stack of books, then a taller stack of books, and so on, until he reaches the balcony.
... And sends a few of the stacks toppling in the process.]
Oops.

Once he’s up there, Zangetsu will notice the small black polaroid camera Lambert has in hand, looking extraordinarily out of place with the other accessories he has on: a sword and dagger to his hip, a shield strapped across his back. While Lambert has managed his encounters well enough, he isn’t always lucky enough to be drawn into a world where he can bend reality to banish the specters. ]
Let’s see it then. [ He beckons, impatiently. ]

Zangetsu has his normal sword with him, and his good friend Pickles the magic-eating-leech in an empty soda bottle tied to his sash. Between those items and his rather... pitiful storytelling skills, he'd managed to escape most of the encounters he'd had with books gone wild.]
Ah, yeah.
[Zangetsu reaches into the inner layer of his white-on-black shihakushou and pulls out a piece of parchment paper folded in half. On the page is a detailed illustration of a decorative, but still somewhat mundane-looking mirror. He hands it to Lambert, making as face as he anticipates a question] Don't worry, I didn't rip it out or anythin'; I found it loose like that.

All right, hold it up so it's in the light. I'll make a few copies [ Lambert directs Zangetsu, getting them to shuffle around until the lighting's to his satisfaction before lifting the camera. He'll take a few shots, taking a bit of time between them to pull the polaroid free. That's what he'll focus on until he ends up with about five copies of the thing, and he looks up. ]
Not much to look at, is it?

[well.]

[ He won't bother offering to find him in the off-chance he does get lost. Zangetsu is capable enough. He thinks. Probably? Yes, probably. ]

[that's not quite how it works, but he seems optimistic at least?? Which is more than what he could say at the beginning of all this. He had doubts about being able to track down anything useful in a place so huge]
Besides! I know what his soul smells like. I can always find him that way.

And what does Childermass's soul smell like?

[ Seeing how Childermass isn't Zangetsu, don't listen to him. ]

Does that make us soulmates?

So a lizard made of bad habits. Fitting.
