Why would yelling make someone feel better, if it doesn't fix things? [She mutters.] Fixing things fixes things, and if it can't get fixed, yelling would make it worse.

[ Lambert keeps the radio on, so for now the conversation's still audible, though the quality of the volume changes -- like he's turned his head to the side instead of speaking directly. ]

I would've just taken yours.

[ Or someone else's. Lambert is indiscriminate. At the moment, he's managed to find a rock to sit up on that isn't too onerous to get off of while he watches Childermass fiddle around with the tent, absolutely useless at the moment. The most he'd done was cluck directions at Pig to help carry some of the stuff over, but now she and Butcher are just peacefully grazing off to the side (or not-so-peacefully, depending on whether Baker's also out or not). ]

[ Yes, make the injured man struggle, everyone likes to watch that, right? Only likely not, which is why it won't be happening. As for Baker, he's since been told to sit, so that's what he's doing -- or more like napping, next to the other two grazing over there. Neither of us, normally. I can use a simple compulsion spell, but it's temporary, and it couldn't do anything like this.
