[118.11295] - Public WTF
[Of all the things that Yuuri had expected to happen because he went to a carnival, getting apparently stuck with said carnival had not been on the list.
He was honestly waiting to wake up from this weird fever dream.]
Could..would anyone--if there's anyone listening--be willing to help me out? I'm not entirely sure where I'm suppose to be going. [A pause.] Or doing.
[He'd been given a trailer number and told he'd be a showman. Real descriptive.]
M-my name is Katsuki Yuuri. By the way.
[Someone's unsettled.]

There isn't a way that I know of. But from what I was told, the changes vanish when your contract is filled and you return back to wherever you came from

Do they--is it going to hurt? And what if they don't go away? How bad does it get?

And there's nothing..there's no way to not have that sort of thing happen.

[ well, unless you're in the Matrix, that sucked for everybody, BUT STRANGE IS NOT TELLING NEWBIE ABOUT THAT CLUSTERFUCK JUST YET ]

[He could be alone in terms of people he knew. At least Victor was here with him.
AND YEAH HE APPRECIATES NOT HEARING ABOUT THAT.]
no subject
Precisely. At least here, you're with pleasant company. And, depending on what job you've been assigned, you might be doing something you enjoy in the first place!

Everyone does seem really nice. And I'm going to be a showman? Which is a lot like what I did back home....okay it's pretty much exactly what I did back home.

[ and wow is he proud of that ]

[He actually sounds kind of excited at the prospect. It was something that would help him get more comfortable with this place.]
It'd be my pleasure.

[ which most likely is going to be harder than it seems ]

[He preferred to be on the ice.]

At least five inches, just to be on the safe side. A stable temperature is important, too. And humidity. So it'd have to be someplace where everything could be kept at a constant so it doesn't melt or thin out.

Of course, it would probably be easier if the rink was made in an enclosed space. There's less variables to work with, after all.
no subject
That's how rinks are usually set up back home! They're indoor so managing everything is a lot easier!

You know, the two of us could set up an act for the show that way. We'll take the Big Top, I'll do a little bit of magic, freeze the floor, conjure up some snow, and then you could skate for everyone!

[Oh. Oh he likes the sound of this! He wasn't really sure what he was going to do to earn his keep and work off his debt but, Strange, you may have just made his life so much easier.]
I'd love to!
no subject
Wonderful! In that case, once you're all settled in, we should meet at the Big Top and start practicing.
[ except at some point they'll go into Atlantis and huh, being underwater'll make this a billion times harder. ]
Oh, and I'm terribly sorry but I don't think I've ever told you my name. I am Jonathan Strange. Pleased to meet you, Yuuri.
