[Spells, in the traditional sense of the word and concept, don't exactly exist in Annabelle's world—the concept of selling one is so bafflingly intangible to her. She understands different worlds and all, but her curiosity grows.]

Well I was just shy of thirty when I first discovered I can do magic. And I believe that was six or so years ago. So really, probably not that much time at all in the grand scheme of things.

Fascinating! Where I'm from, it hardly takes so long to know of one's potential with magic.

I already know that my world is different than most others with regards to the number of magicians—I suppose it only makes sense that it differs with regards to the potential of magicians as well.

That's true! Now that you've mentioned it, I figure there's probably countless variables. All the more reason this carnival is, in many ways, a tremendous opportunity to learn...

Perhaps I'll conduct the seeds of a study... With an opening to learn so many different perspectives of other magic users from different worlds, I feel that there may be an opportunity to advance my own potential and understanding. A boundless blessing, without disguise.

If you want a second set of eyes on your study, I'd be all too happy to help out. There's so much we can learn from this place, I don't see why anyone would be content just leaving it as is.

That said... you've already been here for a little bit, haven't you? Have you any interesting findings so far?

I have! The most interesting thing so far is the amount of control the Ringmaster has over us. It seems faerie magic places a lot of importance on lieges and hierarchies.
