Welcome back to the carnival, everyone. Things may look the same as before, but I assure you, there is no stone that has been left unturned or tree that hasn't been uprooted. We'll have no more stalkers from here on out.

There are a few things of relevance that I have to tell you about. Firstly, Ignatius is no longer in the moon. Instead, he's been relocated to a small island in the middle of the lake. He can't leave it, and you aren't allowed to visit it without my permission. If you do, and he wounds you, you can consider it your own fault.

In a related matter, I've decided to invest my magical energies into granting each of you a ressurection egg, as we clearly can't anticipate any peaceful resolutions from this. If you don't know what that means, it's essentially a ritual spell I'll need your help in completing - once it's done, it will bring you back to life if you happen to perish, but only once. Also, you will have to be in the egg long enough to regrow and hatch. This is no small favour on my part, and it won't work unless your soul can make it back to the egg.

Thirdly, after calling in several favours, I think the location of Eden is almost within view. A few allies will be joining us over the next week and giving us more information. Until then, carry on about your business, as there are some new things you'll have to get used to.

We're going to be organizing the Supervisor guided departments differently from now on. I have explained the details to the Supervisors, and they can fill you in on what will be expected of you. There will not be only six categories: Militia, Acquisitions, Engineering, Management, Administration, and Medical.

Supervisors, feel free to sound off with what group you are leading and what it is for.

Acquisitions? Is that a kind way to say theft? (Because he can acquire all sorts if need be.) What are you researching?

[ Sorry, Hades, but he has to pause and frown at the radio and, when he does answer, it's with a hint of disbelief. Like, really? ]

Considering you were assigned to Acquisitions when you first arrived, Mr. Hades, I am surprised to hear you do not understand your job. The Ringmaster surely explained it but, yes, it is a less straightforward way of saying theft. As for what we research, why, I imagine that's up to the researchers but currently, it would be the Queen's Miracles.

(Yes, really. He thinks humans and their subtle masks are hilarious. Acquiring what isn't yours is an acquisition, but it is problematic. Not that he has the morals to stop himself or others. The world has always had a dark side and, technically, he represents it.)

I never said I didn't understand. (He just wanted a chuckle.) Miracles. That word is used for a great many events that barely qualify.

You'll find that the Queen's Miracles would very well fit the term. They've existed longer than any of us have, created by the magics of the two faerie courts before they fell to bickering with one another.

Bickering is a way to pass the time. (Boredom is the cause of so many wars, he is convinced.) I would like to examine them; these miracles. Who do I approach?

[atouts]

We've only one of them right now. Who may and may not see them depends on whether the Ringmaster cares to show it off, as the Blue Rose is in her care. [ That said... ] A word of advice, however. There have already been complications with the Rose, so the chances of visiting it may be very slim.

[haides]

T'would be better if those complications fell on one such as me. (He knows he has no real connections and that he has a tendency of irritating others.) Could lessons be learned from how I am transformed?

[atouts]

T'would be better if they fell upon no one. [ Having witnessed such firsthand, Childermass most definitely disagrees. ] But lessons and how you are transformed... I am sorry, but I don't follow. What do you mean?

How I am changed - how the magic effects me - could that not be a clue into how the miracles are achieved? (Research should examine all sides of an equation and he isn't partial to remaining one way or another. In the eyes of others, he will always change anyway.)

[atouts]

That we do already know how it was made and how it effects non-fae, so I do not see that as a necessary risk to take. How they were achieved was with the magic of the first Queens of Winter and Summer, how they affect us is by changing us. The two who have handled it before gained traits from the Rose itself.
